This privacy policy explains how EliteTheBarber handles personal data collected through this website, including via the booking system.

2. What data we process
When booking an appointment we process: name, email address, phone number, chosen service, appointment date and time, and any remarks you add yourself. We do not request more data than necessary to schedule and confirm an appointment.
3. Why we process this data
We use this data to schedule, confirm and manage your appointment (e.g. rescheduling or cancellation) and to contact you regarding your appointment.
4. Legal basis
Processing of booking data is necessary for the performance of the agreement created when booking an appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For security purposes, a legitimate interest may apply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. How we use the data
The data is used exclusively for scheduling and managing your appointment and related customer service. Without your explicit, separately requested consent, we do not use your data for marketing purposes.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your data with third parties, except where necessary for the operation of our systems (e.g. hosting or technical service providers) or where legally required.
7. Processors

8. Retention period
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. By default we retain booking data for 1 months after the appointment date, unless a legal retention period requires a longer period.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords for the admin panel, and restricted access to personal data.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability and object, and to withdraw any consent given. Not every right is absolute in every situation; this depends on the specific processing.
